But I'm fairly sure from the loud scrabbling noises that it's either stuck or trying to build a nest in my kitchen vent. And that it has claws.

I will be attempting to have it removed kindly.

Well, it didn't pee on anything, and it exited of its own accord when it saw me, and I got to see a fox in my attic!!! So it was pretty ideal, really.

Also, I'd headed upstairs because of the noise and was worried I was going to encounter a human burglar, so finding it was a fox was a definite improvement.

The local police officers felt the same way when they found a fox trapped in our side passage (fallen from the neighbouring roof, we think), and they were expecting a druggie or burglar. The poor fox almost got tasered, though.

London foxes, right?
