We also saw a Tailed Blue and a Red-Spotted Purple. At least they are fairly easy to remember. Oh, and Hackberry Emperors were abundant as well. That is a good name. They do frequent hackberry trees, and they are fancy enough to get a title.

My first serious interest in insects was in dragonflies, and dragonfly nomenclature is just absolutely wild compared to common butterfly nomenclature. So perhaps I'm spoiled.
