Autumn in North Shropshire

We have such a colourful one this year !

Tolkien, who was a local man, called it Laurelindórenan, the land of the valley of singing gold.

We decided to walk some of the Ercall forest.











The view from Black Hayes across the Ercall/Wrekin Valley to the Weald Moors.

It's always neat to see hills covered in multiple colors. That's definitely something we don't have here.
