Autumn in North Shropshire
We have such a colourful one this year !
Tolkien, who was a local man, called it Laurelindórenan, the land of the valley of singing gold.
We decided to walk some of the Ercall forest.

The view from Black Hayes across the Ercall/Wrekin Valley to the Weald Moors.

And the Wrekin in full Autumn blaze

And this was the view as we got back to the edge of town!
