I'm happy to hear that. Early spring isn't the most picturesque season unless you have a sharp eye (the first spring ephemerals) or get lucky (the heron) but it's still nice to get out and walk around. Plus it's easier to identify trees from bark if you're into that -- things like sycamore (white underbark with peeling brown chunks over it) and shagbark hickory (big peeling shingles of gray-on-gray) jump right out.
