No Fear

When out for a walk the other day I saw a wee squirrel by the curb as I approached and expected it to run off. But as I got closer it didn't move. Given its big bushy tail it's not a baby but it did seem rather small so maybe a juvenile?

I stopped and took some pictures and it just went on eating its acorn. In the meantime another squirrel had stopped on the trunk of a nearby tree and seemed to be observing anxiously. No idea if it was mom or just a squirrel waiting for me to be on my way so it could resume nut hunting.
