spring flowers

We've had quite a chilly spring here in South-Eastern Sweden but it's finally started getting warmer. On my walk this afternoon I saw SO MANY Wood Anemones (Anemone nemorosa):

I love carpets of wildflowers. Here in Illinois, USA (near the middle) my wild violets do that.

I think I missed posting pictures from full bloom because I got busy, but this set shows the violets approaching their peak.
