We found these beauties in a pond on the territory of a winery near the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The frog waited patiently while I changed the lens and got closer to it.

That was fortunate. They're usually skittish little things. *ploonk* and they're gone.

Apparently, these frogs are already used to the abundance of visitors.

I've never seen that before. Even at nature centers, they tend to announce their presence by jumping into the water.

There they announced their presence with loud croaking, shouting over the tour guide.
