The sedum is a brilliant choice; the late summer through early autumn blossom opens up an All-You-Can-Eat Bug Buffet. I can personally vouch for cabbage butterflies, sulphur butterflies, skippers, blues, ladies, fritillaries, swallowtails, and monarchs, as well as houseflies, blowflies, honeybees, bumblebees, and yellowjackets.
