It's spring here in Australia (I'm a Sydney-sider) and I visited Canberra last weekend for the Southern Hemisphere's biggest flower festival, Floriade. While I was there, I also visited Tulip Top Gardens (which is open for spring the same time as Floriade) which is 15 mins out from Canberra, back in NSW. The weather wasn't great, but we did get a little bit of blue sky and sunshine in amongst the cloud covered skies and rain and the garden was absolutely beautiful. Tulips, pansies, blossoms galore.

(I post my photos at
skylark_photos and for anybody who's interested in art made from the photos (icons, wallpapers--will be coming up for these photos later this month, headers) I post that at
skylark_art.)
