There appear to be three baby robins in the nest over my patio, and they seem to be getting bigger by the moment. Mama is really kept hopping keeping them fed. :D
Interesting that what Americans call a robin we in the UK would recognise as from the thrush family. I presume it's the red breast which got it the name.
They are adorable! Having a camera with a good zoom has made it possible to take pictures I never could have gotten with my previous camera. Glad you liked the pictures! :D
It should be both parents feeding them actually. We had a couple of robin nests on our balcony over the years and they tag teamed one another. In fact, apparently the father's the one who stays the longest with the nearly grown babies while momma's off on a new nest. We once had the juvenile from the previous nest (somewhere else) showing up at the latest one on our balcony and making an incredible racket. Momma paid it no attention but papa gave it some food.
