Spider + victim
This photo is behind a cut because arachnids are not everyone’s favourite and this one is having a meal.

We found this spider indoors, feasting on its unidentified victim. The children were fascinated and watched it for a good 20 minutes, until it abandoned the dried husk and scampered off to the shadows.

This one has amazingly long legs.

I agree wholeheartedly! Spiders always welcome here, flies not so much. Especially not horseflies with their nasty bites that itch for weeks.
