Spider + victim

This photo is behind a cut because arachnids are not everyone’s favourite and this one is having a meal.



We found this spider indoors, feasting on its unidentified victim. The children were fascinated and watched it for a good 20 minutes, until it abandoned the dried husk and scampered off to the shadows.

Thank you! As above, the spider's position made it difficult to capture, so I was glad it obligingly sat still for quite a while.
