This blue and yellow fellow is known, unoriginally, as a blue and yellow macaw. 

We met him on the edge of a woodyard in the outer reaches of Ludlow where he clearly belongs.

It's not so often you see something quite this spectacular hereabouts outside of a zoo!

He was well mannered enough to sit for his portrait.
