First Photos of 2023

At least nature related ones. We hit a really unnatural temperature today for this time of year and I'm guessing the impending rain and warm front created a very foggy day yesterday. We had some morning fog the day before but it burned off. Yesterday though? Hazy all day.



We're returning to more normal temperatures in the coming week but even so it's unusually mild for the start of the year.

Oooh, I like these. I've never tried to take photos in the fog.

We don't tend to get a lot of fog, especially the kind that sticks around all day. But it's fun to see how it makes the familiar look different.

I remember in college my dorm room was on the edge of a hill, and when the fog rolled in, it looked like the world just dropped off into nothingness.
