Black Forest landscape

A calm moment in the late afternoon / early evening summer sun.

And what a difference a few hours can make:

The pictures are from a spontaneous hike on which I went two weeks ago. The evening light was so soft and warm.

What a lushly wild area.

It's not as wild as it looks - but it certainly felt as if it was. I didn't meet a single person on the ~4h hike.

Thank you! It was the first time I went that particular track. It went through the forest, so this view was one of the few places where you could see over the landscape. Coming out of the trees and seeing this view was just magical.
