Goslings!

We have seen two different batches of baby geese in the past few weeks. One of them is getting so big they'll be popping out adult feathers soon. Here's a recap.




Spotted the geese out strolling down our sidewalk. Mom decided to take a dip but the babies were clearly unsure about this. They had already grown since we first saw them!





With none of the babies apparently willing to take the leap, Momma came back out of the water.





With Mom back out of the water, everyone returns to snacking.



A week or so later we saw the second batch of goslings!

I thought it was the sky at first which gave it a special kind of atmosphere, but the fact that it's the sky reflected on still water is just... I don't know, it's really cool :D Great shot!!

I like it too, though I wish that the warm weather hadn't brought the algae to the surface already.
