Siena- the botanical garden
We visited Siena in Tuscany in Italy last month for a couple of weeks and as always when we visit, spent time in the botanical garden.
A view back into the city from the garden:

The 19th century greenhouse:

The view out over the medieval city wall into the Maremma (Siena's countryside):

Woodland area close to the city wall:

And olive trees in the shelter of the wall:

This lovely building was a pigsty, I believe:

And had a harvest of Winter squash:
