Fox in IR

I've been putting out our motion-sensitive IR camera again. The hedgehog appears to have gone into hibernation, probably in the big pile of garden waste at the bottom of our garden. In its place, however, we seem to have acquired a fox!

I have to admit, we have borrowed ours from work. The borrowing period is getting slightly embarrassingly long now...

In the UK, one like this costs about £250, but there are definitely cheaper models. In still-capture mode, this takes quite high resolution photos. I like the video mode best for night-time use though.

I think it comes to snack on the seed and suet that the birds drop, because it spends most of its time nosing around under the feeders. I got a really good capture of Fox's face last night after altering the camera's position! I've adjusted the position slightly tonight, in the hopes of a further improved view.
