It's nearly over, but I did manage to get some photos! These were popping up all over the roadside/next to my run trails the last few weeks.

The top one is a blackberry lily. I planted a few and now I have a bunch of them scattered around my prairie garden.

Oh, that's good to know! I wondered about the berries I saw on it.

Not actual blackberries, but the seedpods on these things are really neat. I just pick off the seeds once they get ripe, and plant them in the prairie garden. There are several patches now. This is a sun/shade prairie wildflower and seems to love this location.
