Oh wow that's the sweetest. And yep, there are a couple of
climbing routes
a few hundred meters in the direction the ouzel is looking at.

Ring ouzel eating ...something.
Maybe hunting to feed a nest as I'm seeing many robins around here in a similar pose :) Is there nesting going on now?

I love the bullfinch photo! I don't think I've ever seen one in summer before.

This is my first time seeing both of these birds, too! And yep, it's amazing what you can catch with a teleobjective and burst mode shooting

Wonderful pictures. I had a male bullfinch in my garden the other day. Was so pleased, as it hasn't happened for years. They were so common when I was young.
