Trametes versicolor

I see what is apparently Trametes versicolor on dead wood in my area of the Pacific Northwest:

A dark branch has lichen and pretty round shelf-like growths with stripes in gray, orange, and brown.

Odd to think you and I could be looking at similar fungi so far apart. I find them intricately beautiful and surprisingly individual within their characteristic range of appearance.
