More suburban lawn flowers and such

Some mauve friends that I can't name, with a dandelion for scale - ETA: turns out it's Stork’s Bill, Erodium cicutarium - thanks, [personal profile] boxofdelights!

Blue guys around the same size - ETA: after some duckduckgoing, I'm almost positive this is Veronica chamaedrys, a.k.a. the germander speedwell!

Birch :)

And some bentgrass! If everything was a little less blurry, I think you'd be able to see a second, different type of bentgrass in the background.

Nice variety of colors here, and that second photo has such a soft look to it!

Your photo with the dandelion reminded me that last week when returning from the grocery I noticed that all of ours had turned into puffs. The local rabbits love that and I half expected to see one munching away.

Maybe? I think it's actually that the stalks change. It's rather fun to watch them go through a long stalk until the end, not unlike a long strand of pasta.

So pretty! The mauve is Stork’s Bill, Erodium cicutarium.

That birch against the blue-blue sky paints such a delicate picture.
