To make a butterfly garden, you need:

* A sunny spot. Or alternatively, any of the native trees that supports a lot of lepidoptera, then you put a soft landing garden underneath.

* Look up a list of your local butterflies and moths, so you can find their larval hosts.

* Some nectar plants, preferably including keystones.
