Bee, Goldfinch, Echinacea

I've been sorting through my photos from Indiana in August, and found these. Echinacea, which I don't think I'd ever seen before, along with entirely new-to-me birdies! And a bee. Probably a new kind of bee, too.

We have goldfinches around here too, though they're not often seen. I always wish they'd come to our balcony to snack, they're so pretty to look at.

I like the flowers, though I generally call 'em cone flowers. I've got scads in my garden.
