One of our local (Pacific Northwest USA) Anna's Hummingbirds, I think a female, at our feeder. Pentax K1 Mk2, Jupiter 37a with M42 adapter. Not as sharp as I would like, but so it goes.
We've had our feeder out for a few weeks now but haven't spotted anyone yet. Usually they've arrived mid May or later but with all the weather changes they've generally left later and there have been reports of them arriving sooner too.
This was one of maybe 20 pictures I took while watching the feeder, probably over about half an hour. Fairly rapid-fire, but not burst mode (which I assume my camera has, but I've never used it). I'm not fast enough to do manual focus on moving hummingbirds, so I focused on the feeder-flowers.
