Another walk

This week has been a constant stormy downpour so I haven't had much chance with the camera but last week was better!

We took a walk up Limekiln Lane again and into the woods.

The little stream that runs alongside the lane was doing its best to be a torrent after so much rain:



And magical pools had created themselves where no pools had been before:



And it was so green even by my somewhat English standards:



And I found enormous fungi!



And something that just took my fancy!



Then there was this leaf:



The weather is supposed to improve this coming week.

Constant rain isn't so great but I do wish we'd get a day or two of it this weekend as the temperatures have been going back up again. Maybe you can send some of it this way ;)

I love the photos of the little stream and the unexpected pool! I wish it would rain for a week here too. It's scarily dry everywhere!

We are now wishing it would stop raining as we had major floods earlier in the year BC (before Covid) and the damage has largely gone forgotten and unrepaired as a result.
