Country walks

We've had glorious weather this weekend so got out for a couple of long walks in our magical Shropshire countryside.

I have fond childhood memories of a big crab tree in the garden and of crab apple jelly! :o)

Nice to see another fan of water shimmers! We live near a lake and in the late afternoon we can see the reflection of rippling lines on our main room ceiling. Photos don't really capture it but it's such a tranquil sight.

Ercall Pool isn't big enough to count as a lake but not so small as to be a pond.

Everything from a puddle to a lake gets called a'pool' locally.

We know we are lucky to live here especially in times like these!
