Goslings And Cygnets
Jun. 8th, 2021 04:33 pmThese are taken over the course of awhile now.
Cygnets on mama's back -- this, it turns out, is a standard thing for cygnets to do, early in life. (I'd been surprised by it last year.) It is, nonetheless, still cute. The guy in back evidently has more energy.

The goslings are from a few different groups. There's some broods that hang out together in Attleboro (in various places nearby), and a few that hang out together in Seekonk/Providence. They do walk a hell of a lot, daily, mind you.
This dude, who was at the Attleboro Water Authority, is all leg.

Also at the Water Authority, we have a streeeeeetch.

Protection.

Gosling asks, "Hello... do you *want* something?"

Gosling preens.

And finally, from yesterday, gosling gets some adult feathers in!
