Only a rose

 This one on the edge of our local park was just past its best a couple of days back, but still lovely.

I don't  know how many of you have read any of Ellis Peter's 'Brother Cadfael' novels, but this is classic Cadfael country a walk away from our front door. On the farm track from Wenlock's Farm and looking over to Ercall (pronounced 'arkle') woods. The full set of pics is up on my own blog now and open to view to anyone who wants to visit.
