About birds

We went out for a walk with a telephoto lens the other day, which resulted in this selection of shots with local birds. To be honest, the walk was supposed to be longer, but the weather decided everything for us.
In principle, this our photo hunt can be considered as a continuation of this post [DW], where I tried to collect some interesting facts about our local birds.
So, let's go!
On the Moskvich Pond.
The lake gull is probably the most important bird of Lobnya (and the most vociferous). It is even on the coat of arms of the city.
A little further away you can see a ruddy shelduck. They usually arrive in the spring and occupy all the ponds of our city (a couple of birds to each pond). They are the sources of strange sounds that periodically come from the sky in our city, resembling either the barking of a dog or the cry of a donkey.
Well, everything is clear here ;)
By the way, the pigeons from Lobnya are divided into just pigeons and pigeons from the trash, and the latter can always be easily distinguished by purely external signs (they usually look as if they were completely dipped into the sewer). These are the first ones.
The next is the Central City Pond.
And other ruddy shelduck, dozing on the roof of a duck house surrounded by a flock of seagulls.
Starling. It is difficult to catch a bird in the frame that does not stand still for a second. But I succeeded!

And then he began to splash in the water.
A couple of ducks are doing their business nearby.
And pigeons again
The main population of the pond

Accidentally I got a good desktop background. Although I did not set such a task to myself. If you want to attach this to your computer, write me your screen size, I will send you a picture in the desired resolution.
And now we are near Kiovo Lake. This small pond on the other side of the dam appears and disappears depending on the season and the volume of runoff from the lake.
And here is the dam separating the lake from that small pond. A big heavy cloud approaching from the west hints to us that it's time to end the photo hunt and run somewhere under the roof.
It's going to rain now!!!
Everyone who was on the dam hurriedly leaves.
But ducks do not care about this problem – they are already in the water, and they will not be more wetter.
The first gust of wind came. The birds on the lake were not at all embarrassed, but we are already hiding our photographic equipment and running to the nearest bus stop.
