High Summer in North Shropshire

We finally had some decent weather yesterday.

I have also treated myself to a new camera- a Sony 6000 mirrorless so I needed to experiment.

We took a walk out towards the Huntington farms.

The fields are turning gold:



Christ Church, Wellington across a wheat field.



And the golds looking over towards the town of Ketley:



Ivy!



The footpaths have full Summer growth:



And the foxgloves are beginning to be past their best:



Rotten to the heart:



This feather is either owl or one of the big raptors.  It even looks silent:



And the thistles are in bloom:



A farm track with such a sky!  This was the route to Huntington:
