Eyes Are Too Big for its Throat Pt. 2

Shortly after managing to down the first fish the heron very promptly managed to grab a second one with some slow stalking and a quick strike.





This second fish that the heron caught was apparently too much for it. You can see in the splash where it let the fish go.



It was still a lot of catches for one morning.



The lake has a small shelf by the wall and then drops away sharply, so that was a lot of dumb fish swimming near the shore.
