This trail was pretty epic for birdwatching. I still have one or two photos yet to post along this trail :)
I only wish my camera was better for the freedom seagulls 🦅 around when I sail; they'd also be awesome to share. I have a nesting pair and juveniles near to where I berth my sailboat. Must get better optical zoom!
Nice! Without size cues it's hard to tell if this is a Hairy Woodpecker (robin-sized) or a Downy Woodpecker (sparrow-sized), but it's one or the other. Either way it is a female; males of both species have a red patch on the back of the head. :)
