A lot of poppies

We found this poppy field near the city of Gazalkent, Uzbekistan. Poppies fade very quickly, but we still managed to photograph them.

These are beautiful! The view from the hill, the green and gray and red all together just looks so dreamlike. Прекрасно!

Interestingly, if you go very far away, it looks like a patch of bare clay earth in the middle of the grass. A little closer, you begin to realize that it is the greenery of the grass mixed with the redness of the flowers.
