Ludlow and the River Teme

common_natureWe live in the north of the county of Shropshire, while Ludlow is in the south about forty miles from home.
One of the river's several weirs:
Dinham bridge which takes you back into Ludlow. It's medieval. Ludlow Castle in thw background:
Along the Mortimer trail into the woodland:
Amd autumnal view of the castle:
And the colours in the countryside:
A bit of a climb!
And a view into the Clee hills. Those of you who are Brother Cadfael fans may recall these appearing in 'The Virgin in the Ice'.
And still we climb!
Down the ways:
More of the hills:
They mined dolerite up here in the 19th century:
It's a watery landscape. One ot the many streams:
Fungi!
And back into town acorss Dinham Bridge:
