Mistletoe in Worcester city centre

Evergreen mistletoe growing high in treetops, in Worcester city centre during April 2013, before leaves came out on the deciduous trees.

Yes! But mistletoe is so common around here that I sometimes temporarily forget what an amazing plant it is... and then I remember to post to this com and it reminds me.

And then I wonder if druids were rly good tree climbers, heh.

Holy moly I didn't even know that's where mistletoe came from. I THOUGHT IT WAS A BUSH OR SOMETHING.

IT'S TTLY A BUSH! It's a parasitic, aerial, spherical bush inna tree! And I hope I will never get over how amazing that is. P.S. afaik it's only "planted" by birds, who've been eating mistletoe berries, wiping their beaks on a suitable branch of a suitable host tree.
