common_natureI photographed this monarch Sunday afternoon in the Native Pollinators' Garden next to the Somerville Community Path. We saw several monarchs in that garden yesterday, when it was sunny; this afternoon was overcast after rain.
I posted this last night, then removed it because I was hoping to shrink the image. I'm having trouble with the photo editing software on my various devices (I'm still getting used to Windows again, and Flickr seems to have removed the option of posting smaller versions of images stored there), so here it is behind a cut.

Date: 2017-10-09 07:06 pm (UTC)Just so you know, the DW file hosting makes it really easy to put smaller thumbnails in - if you use the "thumbnail embed" instead of the "image imbed" html, you can use the dropdown to pick how many pixels wide you want the image to be, and it will automatically link to the full-size one too (I suggest using 600-800 for most images.)
