I loved the above image which looks like a flower with tiny flowers inside of it.

This tree lined road goes around Rice University in Houston. It reminded me of some other southern city streets where I grew up.

The teeny tiny purple flowers in the first picture made me think of little chicks in a nest - you know how they open wiiiide for food when the parent bird (or anything else!) flies over?

Yes, I thought so too! And alternately it looks like the flower has its own small garden inside.
