Mushroom pictures are interesting to me because I rarely see them where I live. I did see some tiny ones in our yard, and by tiny I mean about the size of the apple stem in that picture you took, but I lost them and couldn't find them again.
Thank you! These mushrooms weren't very large as well, the hood had a diameter of less than an inch. But you find them everywhere, even in our own garden where the cats have fun zapping them *g*.
