Wild garlic flowers

There's a half-hidden place next to the canal towpath where a big patch of wild garlic grows every spring, in our little corner of rural Worcestershire (UK). We go down there to pick it and put it in our salads. Right now it's in flower, so Youngest and I took the macro lens down to capture it in bloom.

Heh, I find wild garlic smells a lot stronger than it tastes. We put it in our raita this evening and it has a nice delicate flavour.

Yes! We saw a lot of lovely things on our walk, including a friendly swan.

What a lovely photo of a lovely flower! It doesn't seem to grow were I live now, sadly enough. I guess it doesn't like conifer forests. It's nice in salads. I know people who make pesto with it but never tried it myself.
