We've noticed that our sunsets are shifting to the left instead of directly ahead, which is the common view from our balcony. The other day this was unfortunate because it put the different layers of color largely behind trees. But still something to appreciate.
It's funny how we can often tell from the start whether it's going to turn into something. Some nights there's very little, others there's just a glow on the horizon, and then some that have a deep pink usually become real lookers.
We do tend to get impressive sunsets throughout the year, and a little better viewed in summer months. It could be though that I remember the cold month ones better because I'm more likely to notice them, coming earlier in the day as they do.
