Nevada Desert by air

I took some photos out the plane window on a trip back from Las Vegas.



There are some rather striking landscapes to see when you fly out of (or towards) Vegas. Snapped some with my phone camera and was rather pleased with the results.

Oooh, they're so clear! I've only lived on the east coast for 2-1/2 years, and I already miss the desert SO much.

It was a pretty cloudless, sunny morning so quite good for the photos. My departure had been in snow and low cloud cover so one couldn't see much of anything 5 minutes in!

They look great, and remind me of flying over Australia.
