Far as I can tell, these just hatched from an egg case near my house.

That is quite a few of them alright. I couldn't see them at first until I enlarged the photo. We used to see them sometimes on our balcony garden but it's been rare the last few years. The only time I saw one was in a parking lot.

That's quite interesting. The heat must have caused them to hatch.
