POPPIES! Rather early poppies, if I'm guessing.
Those tiny blue flowers in the log pile are lovely.

We're well into the poppy season here but we are a good way to the west in the UK so things come a little earlier.
Those are late bluebells- they're mostly finished now.

All crop fields would look like that of we always farmed organically.
They also grow poppies for their seed and oil locally so you occasionally see fields full of bright red!
Last year we had a field of culinary poppies next to a field of rape in full bright yellow bloom- can you imagine? :o)

The bluebells and wild garlic flowers have finished now but the foxgloves are flowering. I love the way nature always saves something for next. :o)
