From the tiny to the big

Here is a heron. It is on a roof with a crow. This crow has made itself impossible to ignore with its repeated cawing. The crow then dive bombed the heron until it left.

We have very assertive crows here, too. They have a *lot* to say when Pippin and I walk underneath a telephone or power line where they're hanging out.

The crows like to hang out on our roofs compared to the area trees. That particular roof always seems to have a lot of them, I'm not sure why. So yeah, given crow personalities that heron was not going to have a peaceful time.
