Well, you knew I'd post some fungus!

Not a good shot as I didn't have a long lens. These are fallow deer although we do also have red and roe locally.

Sheeps! These are of the Romney breed originally from my home county of Kent down in the south east.

Anyone know what this common hedgerow plant is? The insects LOVE it!

They like the good old dandelion too!

Nettles are easily overlooked, but they are beautiful:

This is black bryony in berry. Otherwise known as lady's seal locally. Highly toxic!

These will be coming to an end soon. Pity!

And the ferns are beginning to go:

Date: 2020-09-26 07:33 pm (UTC)That's ivy! When ivy reaches a certain age it stops growing and starts flowering instead and the leaves change shape too. A friend told me that the ivy flowers are an important source of nectar for bees in the autumn. They have a bee hive in their garden and the guy who owns it was very happy there was so much ivy in the neigbourhood.
