Took a walk today down in Seekonk.
It was very colorful.

I got lost for a bit in a stand of pines, and met the world's mossiest tree.

Random wood grain and stumpage.

Mama Deer, out behind someone's back yard.

Young deer, with ears. (This one and its sibling made quite a pair. They and mama beat feet once I took a few more pictures.)

I eventually got unlost and found the pond I was looking for originally, with some foliage. And swans looking elegant.

This is, truth be told, not the best picture of a cardinal around (it's blurry), but I seem to have trouble finding cardinals ever, so, hey! It's a cardinal!

More foliage.

A woodpecker was being annoyed at another woodpecker, and didn't notice me for awhile. (I think it's the inappropriately-named Red Bellied Woodpecker.) So this is him yelling at the other woodpecker. The ones I have of him from the front are blurrier, alas.

Sunset ripples in water.

Two slightly-post-sunset pictures, of ridiculously wonderful water-coloresque sky.

Date: 2020-10-19 03:14 am (UTC)Wish we had proper colorful foliage down here. Instead the leaves just turn brown and fall off.

Date: 2020-10-21 05:07 am (UTC)The Ozarks, from what I can tell, are much nicer in regards to fall foliage (and basically everything else).
