I can't say exactly what breed but they're a form of what gets called 'light heavy' locally- not as big as the real big guy old time farm horses like Shire or Clydesdale but still larger than standard riding horses.
This clydesdale would be several hands taller than those guys:
As I said above, I know my Romani ancestors would have used them to pull their caravans.
