Autumn and Squirrels

It's always neat to see leaves turn into temporary outdoor carpets.





I went out on the balcony to get some photos of the sunset and discovered a squirrel in the bush below us. Hope he doesn't get any ideas of how to climb up to use and get in the bird food plate.



This one I spotted during a walk though already found a snack.

The photos were taken about 10 days ago and we've been having strong winds here lately. Most of the trees are now bare as is the bush the squirrel was making use of.

Those are terrific shots. The squirrels that visit my backyard every day have learned every way possible to get to the bird seeds. They're going to bankrupt me. *sigh*

So far that bush appears to be their closest access point and I'm guessing they don't find it worthwhile to climb up the wall. But we have no power lines or other ways they can access the roof so that helps too.
